Linen

Linen is flax, spun and woven plain. It is the thinnest fibre we use and the one that packs down smallest. It creases immediately, shrinks a little the first time it gets wet, and carries slubs where the flax was thicker. None of that is fixable, so we price it accordingly.

  • Packs down smaller than any other fibre here for the same capacity.
  • Creases within minutes of being folded, permanently until washed.
  • Shrinks roughly 3–4% on the first wash. Cut allowance is built in.
  • Slubs and fibre knots appear throughout the weave.
