Honest Limits — what this fibre does badly

  • Four fibres means four sets of limitations and four cleaning methods.
  • Undyed canvas yellows slightly in sunlight over months and does not go back.
  • Whiteness varies between production batches; two bags bought a year apart will not match.
  • Sheds fibres for the first few uses. Not for fine knitwear.
  • Water spots if soaked. Wipe it, do not submerge it.
  • Creases. That is the fibre, not a defect.

None of the above is treated as a fault. Split seams, failed hardware, holes, dimensions off by more than ±3% and wrong items are, and they are refunded or replaced in full.

Care

  • Spot clean with cold water and a mild soap.
  • Do not machine wash — the weave distorts and the bag loses its shape.
  • Air dry flat, away from direct sunlight.
  • Wipe the cork panels with a damp cloth and never submerge them — soaking leaves a permanent ring.
